BCCI Secretary Jay Shah expressed confidence in Gambhir’s appointment, citing his firsthand experience with cricket’s evolving landscape. Shah believes Gambhir’s vision and experience make him the perfect fit for this coveted coaching position.
Gambhir himself took to social media to share his thoughts on the new role. He spoke of his deep connection to India and his commitment to making every Indian proud. His words painted a picture of a man ready to pour his heart and soul into this new chapter of his cricketing journey.
As Dravid’s tenure comes to an end, Shah didn’t miss the opportunity to acknowledge his contributions. He praised Dravid for nurturing talent and fostering a culture of excellence within the team. Under Dravid’s guidance, Team India emerged as a formidable force across all formats of the game.
